About Us

Woodshed Ink was founded in July of 2016 by Bryan Putnam (one of those artist-printmaker-designer-creative-fellers) who left his position as an art professor at the University of Oregon to build a creative business. He is assisted/inspired/distracted by two lovely ladies, Regan Putnam and baby girl Sylvie, as well as their the trusty pooch, Zeke. Woodshed Ink grew out of a desire Bryan had to use his expertise in drawing and apparel-making to help other small businesses, events, and groups thrive.

The Woodshed Code

NEVER PRINT GARBAGE. That’s our code. It’s a pretty simple standard that we believe will make a big impact. We are committed to designing, printing, building, and branding for your business in a way that is excellent, ethical, environmentally-friendly, and easy (for you).

We are proud to run a green print shop. We use only water-based inks and biodegradable solvents, we choose recycled materials for our packaging, and we research every company we decide to source apparel from so that we can all rest assured that we are leaving a positive impact every step of the way.

What’s just as important is that our design experience and printing methods combine to create the best tees, apparel, posters, and products around. Our shirts are ultra soft, well fitting, and fun to look at. When you use us, your shirts won’t become garage rags. They’ll become favorites.

Small Footprint, Big Impact

We believe that the little things make a world of difference. Maybe that’s why we love what we do so much. We print wonderfully-designed small things for amazing small businesses, brands, and bands, out of our tiny studio shed, in the little town of Twisp. Yep, we believe in the power of small. And when you put on one of our shirts and feel all the small things add up, you’ll believe too.

Our Driving Goal

We want to add things to the world that are loved, that last, and that help our clients thrive.
